Spinal CSF Leak Foundation’s virtual activity challenge, duradash®, has a theme this year of “Start Where You Are.” As the current physical activity guidelines for Americans living with disability and chronic illness suggest that 150 minutes of activity per week is optimal, but that any activity is better than none, we are encouraging participants to aim for 150 minutes of activity during duradash®, to be accomplished at any time over that two-week period. We are also encouraging participants to choose activities that are appropriate for their current health status, which could include anything from flat activities such as reading a book or listening to music, all the way to vigorous exercise, if that’s something they can do. Registration is free, and open now. We also have a toolkit for folks to help them share information and spread the word about the event.
